Birthing Simulator Project: Through the Agape Coffee Roaster project FAME Canada has maintained a close relationship with the ALERT Hospital. The hospital administration identified an educational resource gap to support local midwifery training. The resource gap was made known in the Prince Edward Island community and the FAME Canada board received donations to purchase four birthing simulators designated for midwifery training and skill development. Micaela Darrach, RN and Jenny Stultz, RN (Prince Edward Island) have graciously offered their time, skills and experience to accompany Garth and Andrea in February to teach the local midwives how to use these simulators.
